The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) has officially announced the opening of the JLSS 2026 for incoming third-year college students enrolled in priority science and technology courses.

What is the DOST JLSS Scholarship?

The Junior Level Science Scholarship is a scholarship program for deserving Filipino students entering their third year of college. The program aims to support students pursuing STEM-related degrees and ensure an adequate supply of science and technology professionals in the Philippines.

Who can apply for DOST JLSS Scholarship?

The following are eligible for the scholarship:

  • Natural-born Filipino citizen
  • Regular second-year college student and incoming third-year in AY 2026–2027
  • Enrolled in a DOST-SEI priority S&T course
  • Has at least 83% GWA or its equivalent
  • In good health and good moral character
  • Has not previously taken and passed the DOST-SEI scholarship exam
